So we went to my in-laws this weekend for a family reunion. We had a great time and I think Rod & I were both stressed about how it would go with little Riley and all his sleep issues. He did GREAT!!! I have never seen this kid sleep SO good!! He went to sleep Saturday night at 8:30 with no trouble and didn't wake up until 7am!!! Whoo hoo!!! We were both AMAZED!! Sunday he went down for naps with absolutely NO trouble at all! We couldn't believe it! No crying... just fell asleep without being rocked! Really?? I thought this was the beginning of the new Riley and alas, we came home last night and all the crying started all over. Put him down at 8:30 and couldn't get him to sleep till 10pm. Woke up at 6am crying and ready to eat! Oh well. Guess the farm air agreed with him and the city air... well, not so much. That's okay Riley man. We love you no matter what!
I wish I had pictures to post of his first trip there, but of course I forgot the camera in all of our chaos to get out of the house!
Oh well. Next time. We may be going down there sooner than we think just to get some good sleep out of this kid!
