Happy 2nd birthday sweet Riley! 

We had an awesome afternoon last Saturday as we celebrated Riley's 2nd birthday with family.  Rodney's sister, brother-in-law & nieces were able to come into town and help us celebrate.  It was a great afternoon! We hadn't seen them in 8 months, so it was really fun having Reid's aunt, uncle & cousins up to be with all of us for Riley's party! We ordered pizza, had some delicious cake & cupcakes, and watched the kids have all kinds of fun sliding down the inflatable water slide our sweet neighbors let us borrow!  I had bought a Sesame Street pinata for the kids, but just as I was about to pull it out, it began thundering & lightning, so we had to batton down the hatches & bring everyone inside for presents. Glad we got in some good water slide fun before that happened!   It was such a fun birthday and Riley had THE BEST time!  We all did, really.  

I can't believe my baby boy is TWO!  He is so much fun and just a bundle of energy.  Riley, you are a TRUE joy, buddy.  You love life, are so happy & full of love. You give the best hugs.  You are my snuggle bug.   My, ytou are such a BIG boy!  When I took you to the doctor for your 2 yr. well visit the other day, you weighed in at a healthy 32.4 pounds.  You were 37.5 inches tall.  Holy Moly!  Your report card said <97% for your height!  You are going to be one tall boy!  Basketball player maybe?  Who knows?!  Right now we are just enjoying this fun stage you are in and watching you grow, talk more everyday, be a fun little brother, and enjoy life in this crazy Lindsay fam!  We love you RILEY-ROO!
