Christmas SNOW!!

It snowed here starting around lunch time on Christmas day! It was truly a white Christmas!

It was a little crazy since we were trying to go up to see Rod's family about an hour north of here that day.

We didn't quite make it...., but the boys sure did enjoy all this snow!

Too much sleet & snow & really crazy drivers! (don't you love Rod's hat... guess he couldn't find his "daddy" hat!)

We spent our first Christmas at home as a family of 4 this year.

It was really strange to be just us, but we made the best of it!

I made a special dinner for us & we ended the night by roasting s'mores in the fire place.  It turned out to be a really precious time with just me, Rod & our sweet boys.  Loved it, but definitely missed being with Rod's fam on Christmas day.  We are truly blessed.  Happy Birthday to our blessed Savior!
