Mother's Day 2010

I thought since I have finally started a blog, I would back up a little to some precious moments I hold dear to my heart. This year for mother's day my sweet husband really made me feel special. We had our families over on Saturday evening for dinner and Sunday was a day just for me. I got to sleep in and woke up to several cards and some precious gifts. We also went to a wonderful brunch at a place called Preston's. It was SO good and Reid was a rock star at the table the whole time! I was so proud of him!

The best gift was of course my sweet boy who made me a mother, but there were a couple of gifts that are pretty priceless to me. Rodney surprised me with a short video of Reid outside with him on Saturday morning. It was a video of Reid telling me all the things he can do now... sing his ABC's, count to ten, sing songs, and showing me his little body parts (hands, feet, face, and belly button). It was precious!!! He also bought one of those recordable cards and had Reid say, "Happy Mother's Day. I love you Mommy!" That sent me to tears!! It was by far the best Mother's Day yet and one I will not forget! Thank you sweet Rod! I love you and my adorable little man. Thank you for making me a mother! These days are precious & priceless to me!
