LegoLand

Rodney is on vacation this week between ending his job in Denton and starting his new job just minutes from our home!  Yay for that!!!  We have had a low key week starting it off. Daddy caught the stomach bug that went around our house this weekend and the most horrid storms & tornadoes of 2012 hit DFW yesterday!  Whew!  That was a scary day!  We went to pick up the boys at MDO yesterday and were on lock down in the choir room for about an hour.  I'm kind of glad we were because we couldn't hear any hail or tornado sirens.  They said there was rotation right over the building we were sitting in.  Crazy!  We survived and all is well!  Praise the Lord!

Today we started the week off right by taking the boys to LegoLand at Grapevine Mills.  We had never been before and I'm glad we got to go as a family!  What a fun place!

About to enter the Legoland fun factory and help Professor Brick-a-Brack create a lego brick in his factory!

The Legoland factory... they showed us a version of how they make legos.  Pretty cool stuff!

Riding the kingdom quest ride and battling the evil skeletons & giant trolls.... ha ha!  Not really, but it was fun pretending with the little laser guns!

Jerry World-- made completely out of legos!!

And the Dallas skyline

Howdy Folks!  Welcome to the State Fair!

A lego rendition of Dirk Nowitzki!

Daddy & Reid on Merlin's apprentice -- I promise Reid is not scared! He said it was his favorite part of Legoland!

We had a fun morning together and we're looking forward to some more fun activities to wrap up the week!  LOVE it when Daddy is on vacation!  We're having a ball!
