Weekend of new things

Reid went with to his first Ranger game on Friday night with all the boys from his t-ball team.  A Dad & Son event.  So sweet!

Reid saw & ate his first cotton candy that night!  Wish I had been there to see that!

Daddy & Son bonding at their first MLB game.

I tried to edit this one, but Rod's i-touch doesn't take great pictures.  I had to put it in though... LOVE this one!

Another first this weekend... Rodney taught Reid how to fish for the first time.

He LOVED it!  And was quite patient with it for a 4 year old!

Reid's exact words... "Daddy, I'm learnin' how to fish!"  Precious.

A momma and her baby ducks.  Love how they are all cuddled together and staying close to their mother. Reminds me of how I always want my babies close by and want to protect them.

It was a great weekend of firsts for Reid.  He is finally getting to that wonderful stage of Rodney being able to teach him a lot of different things. I loved hearing Rodney teach him about lures and how they work and how to hold the fishing pole.  Made me fall in love with my husband that much more.  I love the whole dad/son bonding thing.  It's really neat how God designed that. It was so precious to hear how much he loved the Ranger game.  I'm not a big baseball fan, but have become one since Reid started playing t-ball this year. Love, LOVE watching him play ball!
I love everything about this stage he's in.
We had a great weekend and loved the beautiful weather!
